I couldn't help trying to match up as many faces as I could between the two different group shots of Civil War soldiers. Here are the matches I came up with. Are they all correct?

Sorry, you missed my great grandfather. The younger W.E. Bagley is on the 4th row, middle of the 3 pairs, left photo with the long dark beard.
The older photo of him is 3rd row down, left pair, on the right. Now quite bald but still with a long grey beard. I think I have the same group photo of the Infantry reunion.
Thanks, Jon! It makes sense. He seems to have been especially blessed in the facial hair department!
Still want to follow up on this. Hope to get back to scanning more of my old photos soon. Keep in touch. Jon
Thanks Jon. I have not been able to put much time into this project and Linda wound up deleting all her photos, so I need to clean that up. But after we are moved or I change my work schedule, I should be able to get back to it.
